Job Description


We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our Operations and Customer Service department within our Global Forwarding function based in Perth.

As our Team Leader Operations and Customer Service you will:

  • Supervision of a small team of Operations & Customer service executives.
  • First point of escalation for support for our valuable clients or our experienced team.
  • Working to support our customers supply chain needs
  • Finding solution to complex challenges
  • Proactive updates to our customers to ensure they kept in form every step of the way
  • Building and leveraging strong internal and external relationships
  • Assisting with monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Supporting the implementation of new customers

Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Global Freight Forwarding experience across air / sea freight forwarding documentation, domestic and interstate transport, customs, quarantine
  • Cargowise and excel experience – desirable
  • Strong job costing skills and understanding of business finance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Commercial acumen to be able to cross sell and increase existing share of wallet for our customers
