What we are looking for:

A dynamic, self-motivated, determined individual who excels at learning, teaching and listening to clients. An individual who loves to collaborate with others, problem solve and critically think through client situations. The Training Specialist – RCM Experience position will provide onsite or virtual training for our various HST Products. The Trainer will perform training on our cloud-based platforms that encompasses all the features and functionalities needed to efficiently operate an ASC – whatever its size or scope. The applications include surgical scheduling, supply chain management, insurance eligibility, contract management, patient billing, accounts receivable, collections, statements and reporting. The individual will assist in scheduling and coordinating classes, developing training content, providing additional support in all areas of training with Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) operations and carry out specialized trainings as needed. The Training Specialist – RCM Experience will be skilled in the RCM/Billing aspect of an ASC and adult learning techniques.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite, classroom or remote training on the use of the software products utilizing the tools and methodologies supported by HST Pathways.
  • Conduct training sessions for facility administrator, office managers, billers on daily use, administrative duties and responsibilities related to the specific software application and its intended use.
  • Apply RCM background and knowledge to center trainings the promote the importance of accurate patient estimations, upfront collections, accurate claims, and reimbursements.
  • Develop documentation and educational materials in collaboration with the Learning and Development Team, as appropriate.
  • Assist the Training Manager on curriculum design and training content to support upgrades and new products.
  • Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training adult learners.
  • Research our third-party vendors to provide operational expertise related to the HST Pathways applications and how they interact with other products.
  • Assist in writing operational documentation for use by other HST Pathways staff. Assist in updating and developing our internal Knowledge Base and application Help Files.
  • Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.
  • Position is highly visible, and this person needs to represents the mission of HST Pathways


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office and related products
  • Experience in Health Care Revenue Cycle Management or Ambulatory Surgery Centers
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Exceptional communication skills for both internal and external communications
  • Ability to manage many ongoing activities and tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with developing training curriculum
  • Experience with training and educating peers
