Camfil is looking for a Project Director Strategic Operations EMEA placed in Sweden.

About the role
Camfil is continuously growing and is now looking to recruit a Project Director Strategic Operations Europe to the Global Head Office in Stockholm. Location for the role has some flexibility, however it is preferred that you are close to Stockholm or Södermanland.
You will have the Camfil production sites across Europe as your work field. You will report to the VP Operation EMEA and has overall and strategic responsibility for decided projects. In line with the VP Operation EMEA drive improvement culture and find opportunities looking at EMEA as one region.
Camfil is world leading when it comes to filter quality and development. The production sites in Europe are sixteen and they are producing a wide range of different filter products.
Responsibilities;
– Execute the EMEA operation strategy in alignment with VP Operation, MD’s and operation directors
– Global solution owner for the manufacturing process within D365
– Participate in overall S&O planning (sales and operation)
– Perform risk assessments and factory audits
– Drive harmonization in processes and documentation
– Ensure compliance with local & international laws & regulations
Tasks;
– Run major projects within operation such as
o Production relocation from one country to another
o Create business case for major investments with 360 degree perspective
– Support factories in for example
o Implementation of new manufacturing processes with focus on lean manufacturing
o Efficiency of business operations against organizational goals & take action for improvement.
o Value added value engineering (VAVE) for products in alignment with product manager and R&D
o Kaizen event
o Quality assurance activities
– Review & implementation of improvement measures in the areas of manufacturing processes, supply chain, quality, ergonomics & occupational health & safety.
– Make suggestion to reduce cost and increase customer service from KPI and drive cost reduction projects
Experience and Competencies;
– Many years of managerial professional experience in a manufacturing company in similar functions
– Experience in Lean practices, manufacturing process monitoring & management and / or engineering.
– Good understanding of
o quality standards & health & safety regulations
o financial reports
– Knowledge of data analysis and performance/operational metrics.
– Familiarity with industry innovations & technology solutions
– Knowledge of ERP systems and implementations
– Experience in leading major projects
– Be able to work on high level, C-level, but also dig into detail if needed, T-profile
