Transport Planning Senior Specialist

Our Supply Chain Planning team is currently looking for a Transport Planning Senior Specialist who will be responsible for the planning of all domestic transport orders for goods on the Belgian and/or Dutch market. All at the best total price and the highest efficiency, taking the customer delivery date and customer requirements into account.

What will you be doing:

• The Netherlands is operating in a supply chain that is operational 24/7 and delivering on short lead times. Your goal is to assure that transport is able to follow the need of our customers, productions, repack, copacker, and warehouses.
• On a daily basis you are in touch with the different warehouses and your carriers to find a good balance between service level and cost.
• Is accountable to guarantee that call-off/slot-booking in the system used within his region, is done as agreed within SLA’s.
• Monitor daily transport execution, solve arising issues and answer ad-hoc requests.
• Communicate efficiently and clearly to all stakeholders to align on the transport plan and follow up on the execution and changes.
• Ensure correct payments of shipments by collaborating with the admin department and informing them about specialties in the execution.

What you'll bring:

• Fluency in English
• Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) skills, SAP and/or TMS environment knowledge is an advantage
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• A problem solver: Able to act and think fast upon last-minute changes and requests
• Experience within the logistics area of an FMCG company is a plus
