Position Summary:
The Buyer is responsible for the procurement of materials and services needed by the organization that may include one or more of the following commodity groups: medical/surgical, technology, environmental, service maintenance, office products, furnishing, fixtures, and equipment acquisitions. The Buyer functions as the conduit for product issues to include research, substitutions, pricing, sourcing, product failures and facilitating product conversions; works to help define product standards; manages the relationship between the vendor and end users establishing metrics for vendor performance; evaluates data and makes proposals to more effectively manage the business and facilitate decision making in a team environment and provides problem resolution for customers and vendors.
Minimum Requirements:
Two (2) years of experience in supply chain purchasing and customer service
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Associate Degree in business or related field preferred
Compensation Range:
M17 - Min: $27.59-Max: $39.71
