Start date: immediately or by arrangement.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Support Assistant to join our team. As a Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing data science assistance to the Data Science Lab team and supporting the organization of events. This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 10-30% of your time commitment.
Responsibilities

- Assist with data cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis.
- Contribute to the documentation and organization of data science projects.
- Help in the development and implementation of data science models and algorithms.
- Contribute to the support of the Data Science Lab customer groups.
- Provide support to the data science team in various tasks and projects.
- Assist in organizing events, including logistics, scheduling, and communication with attendees.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree.
- Enrollment as a student at the University of Bern (must).
- Passion for data science and a desire to continuously learn and grow in the field.
- Prior programming experience, preferably in Python or R.
- Basic understanding of statistics is a plus.
- Good time management skills with keen attention to detail.
