The Youth Biodiversity Collective is a recently created multi-generational nonprofit dedicated to educating and engaging youth on biodiversity conservation. In the next year, YBC will focus on biodiversity curriculum and multimedia development. We are currently looking for members to join our Advisory Board with biodiversity and climate knowledge or functional nonprofit experience. Potential Responsibilities:
- Serve in an advisory role as the nonprofit seeks fiscal sponsorship.
- Form partnerships with environmental and educational institutions.
- Assist in the functional development and growth of the Youth Biodiversity Collective.
Potential Qualifications:
- Commitment to intersectional environmentalism and environmental justice.

Interest or experience in topics related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including biodiversity and climate change.
- Experience serving on a nonprofit executive board or past work experience with environmental organizations.
- Experience in videography, media production, public relations, journalism, and/or non-fiction publishing.
Advisory Board Members should either have technical knowledge and experience related to environmental topics OR experience in functional aspects of nonprofit development, such as fundraising, grant management, communications, youth engagement, program development, legal, finance, or accounting.
