Board Operator – PT [United States]

 

CUMULUS | INDIANAPOLIS has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Board Operator. This individual will be tasked with controlling the on-air studio console during various remote broadcast shows and events. Qualified candidates should have experience in radio broadcasting and skills in radio control board operations and must be available to work a combination of early mornings, nights and/or weekends as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Live management and radio board operation production of the shows and events as assigned
• Attend meetings with the station’s program director to discuss any special needs during scheduled board-op shift(s)
• Attend promotion, sales and station planning meetings as requested
• Help coordinate broadcast logistics for remotes, live shows and special events
• Be present in-studio when the show is on the air and/or on location
• Ensure logged commercials are correctly aired

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

• Skills with OpX, Adobe, OcenAudio and Reaper production software a plus
• Ability to work with creative individuals as part of a team
• Strong production skills
• Strong knowledge of FCC rules and regulations
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communicator
• Flexible availability to work early mornings, nights and/or weekends
• Team Player attitude and ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
