• Pay rate: $25 -$27 BASED ON EXPERIENCE
• Duration of Assignment: August-December 15

  • Work hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
  • Dress code: business casual
  • Parking/Cost: Daily parking rate will increase to $20/day.

Job Description:
Coordinating events, supporting executive calendar and their busy schedule. Supporting dept chair.
o Assists in maintaining office equipment and purchases.
o Ensures confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information.
o Interact with internal and external office or professionals to facilitate communications and information exchange.
o Maintains schedules for faculty, serve as a point of contact for faculty to coordinate their academic events and on-site visits.
o Researches and gathers data for departmental reports and solve problems to improve the working process.
o Coordinates department public relations functions, as assigned, such as special events, conferences, seminars, etc. Arranges with vendors for sites, facilities, catering, guest accommodations, etc. Coordinates production and/or distribution of promotional materials.
o Composes and produces a variety of business correspondence, reports, confidential documents and/or forms
o Screens and prioritizes incoming calls, determining what contact or action is required for satisfactory disposition. Responds to inquiries or requests for information or refers to supervisor, as appropriate.
